The Hans Lighting ESC-0085BL is a colonial-style ceiling fan built around five carved wooden blades shaped like broad tropical leaves, each veined and edged so the fan reads as furniture rather than an appliance. The blades sit in an antique bronze hub on a matching downrod, in a warm red-bronze finish that suits panelled rooms, verandas and anywhere a plain metal fan would look out of place. Underneath the decoration is a BLDC motor drawing just 40 W across three speeds, with reversible rotation so it pushes warm air back down in winter, and it answers to both a remote and a wall control.

• 5 carved leaf blades — wooden blades shaped and veined like tropical leaves, for a colonial, conservatory look.
• Red bronze finish — warm wood tones against an antique bronze hub and downrod.
• BLDC motor at 40 W — low running cost for a fan of this size, rated 3-star by BEE.
• Reversible rotation — cools in summer, circulates warm air in winter.
• 3 speed settings — running at 220 RPM.
• Remote and wall control — operate it from either.
• 1400 mm sweep — sized for drawing rooms, halls and kitchens.
